Incoming 7th grade thru 12th grade boys basketball players will have an “open gym” and meet the new boys basketball coach this Tuesday at noon - 2:00 if you can make it. Please bring shoes and practice clothes with you as well. Girls stay tuned we should have some exciting news for you soon as well. 💙🐯🏀💙
The staff celebrated the end of the year with a retirement party for Dr. Slothower, Joni & Rickie Brothers. Thank you for your dedication and time at Union City School!
The 2023-2024 Union City School District Teacher of the Year is Kasandra Brothers! Kasandra was an integral part of the school receiving the K-8 STEM OETT grant. This grant added tons STEM activities and technology to our STEM programs at school. She integrated the new technologies into her STEM classes and found way to get all classes age Pre-K -8 into the lab and working with all of the new toys! Part of being a grant recipient was making a video showing how all of the new technology was being used to educate and enrich our kids. That video is linked below. THANK YOU to the Oklahoma Geological Foundation for gifting us a ROCK, MINERAL, FOSSIL collection! They also provided the grant to purchase a glass case to display the collection.
Intermediate celebrated BRAG (Behavior, Responsibility, Attendance, Growth) Day by building rockets, a few hours playing at Chicken'N Pickle, and a stop at Braums for ice cream!

LAST DAY of SCHOOL is this FRIDAY!
Our 2nd grade walked to the UC animal shelter today. They donated treats and toys and played with the pups. All these sweet babies still need homes!
HS Awards Ceremony will be tomorrow night at 6 PM@ Tiger Arena. This is replacing the Academic banquet that was canceled due to severe weather and will include top 2 students in each course as well as perfect attendance, honor roll and other special recognitions for FCCLA and Legacy Alumni Awards. No meal. No tickets or limit on attendance.
Elementary and intermediate award assembly will be Thursday, May 16 at Tiger Arena.
Our Intermediate boys took a trip to the Stafford Air & Space Museum and had Dr. Cambell as their tour guide!
