This afternoon we volunteered at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, our group packaged frozen pineapple. It was a great experience.
Now for the reward, attending an OKC Thunder game!
Our 1st and 6th graders worked together to explore major landmarks, spell words, create shapes, build story characters, and count using OSMOS tiles! They also started the basics of coding a robot!
One of our Speedfest team's RC plane got its first coat of paint! The 2nd team is making some adjustments to the wiring in their plane and will be ready to paint soon!
Kindergarten used mTiny robots to learn about emotions, taking turns, and using critical thinking skills to build roads. They are also beginning to code the robots to tell the the where to go.
There's a PENNY WAR going on in the elementary!

Day 2 of Regional Playoffs will be at Tiger Arena. The Lady Tigers take the court at 1:00 followed by the Tigers! GOOD LUCK to both teams!

Reminder: Tomorrow is a virtual day for HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY. All other classes will be in person learning.
Should either one of our teams play during the day session of playoffs tomorrow- all other students can be checked out by a parent with their parent to accompany their child to the gym to pay admission etc.No students will be dismissed to walk to the gym. Admission per session is $10.00.
Please remember that any student under 5th grade must be accompanied by an adult.

Two of our Esports teams, Overwatch and Smash Bros., started their Spring preseason today! The regular season will begin in 2 weeks.

For all playoff games - the only patrons allowed on the gym floor aside from players and coaching staff are cheerleaders in uniform. All other patrons are welcome to and encouraged to cheer from the student section or wherever you choose to sit in the stands. The area leading back to the boy's locker room is off limits to all unless requested by hospitality room staff. If cheerleaders are not present (in uniform), student-led cheers from the stands are an excellent way to cheer for our Tigers!

Spring Pictures and Proofs Went Home Today!
If your student took a spring photo last week, the pictures and proofs came in and were sent home with your child.
There was an envelope of orders that were received late and were sent after Lifetouch left, so if you didn't get your actual order, it will come a little later after they have processed your payment. We apologize for any inconvenience!
