
Final day of Olympics Camp!
We held the first ever Tiger Curling Tournament(modified for temperature ☺️). Congrats to the Pink Team!



Final Day of Week 1 Basketball Camp!Ricky received the Leadership Award, Most Improved/Grit Award went to Elizabeth, and Elliana got the Tiger Award for working hard when no one was watching. They all received a gift card to Riverview Farm Baking Company!






Dr. Slothower, Mrs. Griggs, and Mr. Jarroush judged meals prepared by the teams in the Cooking Camp. The teams cooked Fettuccine Alfredo, Bow-tie Pasta Alfredo, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Fried Rice, and an array of desserts and side dishes. Our judges had a difficult task and declared a tie. Our judges appreciated the students' hard work and delicious dishes!











Elementary PALEONTOLOGY Camp has been having fun this week! Monday, they buried their fossils and will be excavating them tomorrow. They have talked about the importance of using the same thing to measure fossils.

HS boys basketball leaves at 8:15am for Hydro team camp
Weight room/Summer Pride
8am-10am Mon, Tue, Wed this week.
HS/JH softball- meet & greet w parents and a practice 6pm
Tuesday- HS/JH Girls Basketball
9am- meet & greet with Girls Basketball coach.
Practice 9:15am till 11am
HS baseball…. Bus leaves 4pm
Play at El Reno @5pm

Attention 24-25 JH/HS Boys Basketball Players
Incoming 7th grade thru 12th grade boys basketball players will have an “open gym” and meet the new boys basketball coach this Tuesday at noon - 2:00 if you can make it. The staff celebrated the end of the year with a retirement party for Dr. Slothower, Joni & Rickie Brothers. Thank you for your dedication and time at Union City School!







The 2023-2024 Union City School District Teacher of the Year is Kasandra Brothers! Kasandra was an integral part of the school receiving the K-8 STEM OETT grant. This grant added tons STEM activities and technology to our STEM programs at school. She integrated the new technologies into her STEM classes and found way to get all classes age Pre-K -8 into the lab and working with all of the new toys! Part of being a grant recipient was making a video showing how all of the new technology was being used to educate and enrich our kids. That video is linked below. THANK YOU to the Oklahoma Geological Foundation for gifting us a ROCK, MINERAL, FOSSIL collection! They also provided the grant to purchase a glass case to display the collection.











Intermediate celebrated BRAG (Behavior, Responsibility, Attendance, Growth) Day by building rockets, a few hours playing at Chicken'N Pickle, and a stop at Braums for ice cream!
