We are in critical need for subs and/or a para position that could turn into a long term need ASAP. (Even today if you feel the calling to do so). If you have any interest please email me at k.griggs@unioncity.k12.ok.us and I can get you the application and scheduled for a background check and vet the applicants thoroughly for safety purposes. Pay is approx $90 day/$12.50 per hour for subbing and para is determined on experience.

UCPS had an incident involving a student that required us to request assistance from UCPD using our emergency app. As always their response was immediate, efficient and effective. The situation is completely resolved with minimal disruption to students normal routines. Relevant parents were notified. We have returned to business as usual and all students and faculty are safe.
In September of 2024, Lori Surovik celebrated 30 years with Scholastic Book Fairs. To honor this achievement, Scholastic donated all of these wonderful books to our students to keep in the library!!!

The Intermediate Ancient Civilizations Class practiced cuneiform writing. This writing dates back to 3000 BC!
⚾️Week #1 OSSAA Rankings are out for CLASS A FALL BASEBALL and our UC TIGERS are ranked #8!
The JH/HS STEM CLASS were busy today exploring the different tech in the lab!
Our 6th graders took a trip to the STEM LAB to use the microscopes! They have been learning how organisms are classified into 6 kingdoms.
As many know we are required to do drills each semester. This week we have completed fire, tornado and today we have a lock down drill scheduled. The student and teachers have done an excellent and efficient job on all accounts. We truly are blessed with some of the BEST!
